Eligibility and Registered Accounts

Some features, including the Repository and the Author Portal, are available only to registered members whose email address has been verified.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide and for keeping your account access secure. You must not share your verification codes with anyone.

Author Submissions and Manuscripts

By submitting a manuscript you confirm that you are the author, or that you hold the necessary rights, and that the work is original and does not infringe the rights of any third party.

You grant Aalekh a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to review, edit, store, and where approved publish your submission on the platform. Ownership of your work remains with you.

Editorial decisions about acceptance, rejection, revision, or categorization are made at our discretion and are final.

Intellectual Property

The design, branding, logo, and platform content of Aalekh are owned by us or our licensors. Content created and submitted by members remains the property of the respective author.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to upload or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, plagiarized, obscene, or harmful, and not to misuse the platform through spam, scraping, automated attacks, or attempts to gain unauthorized access.

Content Standards

Submissions must be your own original work and must respect the rights and dignity of others. We may remove any content, and suspend any account, that violates these standards.

Editorial Review and Publication

The editorial board reviews submissions and may provide feedback, request revisions, or assign a category. Publication on the platform is a privilege granted at our discretion and does not transfer ownership of your work.

Third-Party Links and Services

The platform may link to external websites and services, which we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the platform if you breach these terms or misuse the service. You may stop using Aalekh and close your account at any time.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aalekh is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jharkhand.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
